The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded what was a level 2 risk to a level 3, which is an enhanced risk severe storms for our area, with the greatest time frame for severe weather being between 3pm and 11pm. The greatest threats of this system are damaging winds, brief tornadoes and localized flooding. Stay abreast of the weather conditions as, with this type of system, strong storms or tornadoes can spin up very quickly. Tune-in to local media and/or National Weather Service for updates. Sign up for Hot Alerts which will send alerts in the form of text messages and phone calls to your cell phone and landline when watches and warnings are issued. www.hotalerts.org
