Tonight comes the big change. Showers and thunderstorms will form ahead of a frontal boundary. Some of these storms could be severe with damaging winds, but the main concern is the rain. The storms will be bringing heavy rainfall in the 2-3 in range and could cause some locally heavy flooding including flash floods during times of heavy downpours. Please do not drive through flooded roads. The saying is "turn around don't drown". Do not take chances, find another route or wait until the water recedes.
